Polyurethane is a type of polymer offered in both solid and foam chemicals form. Specifically, Polyurethane has an open cellular structure to achieve this foam, and it can be rigid or flexible. Flexible Polyurethane Foam Chemicals (FPF) allows for some compression and flexibility that provides a cushioning effect thus used in furniture, bedding, automotive seating, athlete equipment, footwear, etc. The Rigid Polyurethane Foam Chemicals (RPF) have properties that include low thermal conduction, making it useful as an insulator. It also has low density compared to metals and other materials and good dimensional stability. It is often used in refrigerators, PUF panel and all insulation applications.
